Welcome to our Central Registration Office. Only students who reside in Stoughton, MA are eligible to enroll in our schools.

*Registration no longer takes place at the individual schools.

Pre-Registration Info for 2024-2025 School Year

Attention families with students entering preschool or kindergarten in September, or with a student entering grades 1-12 who did not attend the Stoughton Public Schools this school year: The Stoughton Public Schools online pre-registration portal for next school year (2024-2025 school year) is now open. Links for pre-registration forms for 2024-2025 are posted below.

Please note that for the 2024-2025 school year, preschool students must be 3 or 4 years of age by August 31, 2024 and be toilet trained. Please be advised that a pre-registration does not guarantee a spot in the preschool program as there are only so many spots available.  For kindergarten, children must be 5 years old by August 31, 2024. Students only need to register for grades 1-12 if they do not currently attend the Stoughton Public Schools.

Registration Process

1. Families of incoming students must complete a pre-registration form. A separate form needs to be filled out for each student.

2. Once the pre-registration form is completed, families will receive an email with instructions to complete the process. When you have completed the online registration process you will need to call the Central Registration Office (781-344-4000 ext. 70109 or ext. 70195) and set up an appointment. We can not guarantee that we will be able to see you without scheduling an appointment in advance.

3. The following original documentation must be brought to the registration appointment. Copies will be made and originals will be returned to you.

  • Proof of residency in Stoughton, MA  (Please see the Residency Policy for specific requirements)

  • Physical within a year with immunizations

  • Copy of birth certificate

  • Copy of parent's photo ID
